This reading guide provides second and third grade teachers with a framework within which to teach a specially curated selection of six picture books that address LGBTQ+ topics. Each book's guide includes discussion questions as well as writing assignments and artistic tasks that students can do after reading the book. Each guide also includes book-specific vocabulary, curricular tie-ins, and suggested companion texts.
